No more waiting for plans - create your own floor plans and property descriptions with The Mobile Agent software, whilst at the property or back at the office.

There are two versions of the software: one runs on a standard desktop or laptop PC, and the other on a Windows Pocket PC. To get the most out of the software, most agents use both the desktop and Pocket PC versions.

Step 1

When you visit a property to take a valuation, it is the perfect time to impress your potential vendor.

A Pocket PC running The Mobile Agent becomes a real talking point and the vendors love seeing a floor plan being created before their eyes - especially with a bluetooth laser measurer!

As you move around the property you can quickly create a floor plan and the outside plot - and even have a full property description all with no typing or dictation.

Upon entering a room simply measure it as you do now and enter the sizes into The Mobile Agent on your Pocket PC. Using the stylus, add symbols for doors, windows etc. Once you have visited each room you will have a complete floor plan for the house.

Step 2

With The Mobile Agent, waiting for floor plans and paying for each one are a thing of the past.

Once you have finished your valuations or listings, return to the office and simply connect your Pocket PC to your office or Laptop PC (the Pocket PC comes with its own cable to do this). The Pocket PC will then transfer the floor plans and property description to your office PC ready to drop into your property details or back office system.

Even better, the desktop version of The Mobile Agent software (half price if bought with the Pocket PC version) lets you create, edit and even change the style of your floor plans on your desktop PC or laptop.

Step 3

Your floor plans are transferred to your office PC as normal picture files, so you can use them straight away in your property details and window cards. Most of the major estate agency software vendors can pull Mobile Agent plans and descriptions straight into their systems (e.g. DezRez, Encore, Vebra Solex, CFP, CSL).
