[size=6]This has been a known issue for a very long time now. The problem is our WMFs are not seen in Vebra Homeview when saved via our online Publisher, because they are the newer type of WMF: EMF.
It is a complicated issue for us to sort out, as the WMF format is now a very old format. In fact it was design for Windows 3.0.

For more information on WMFs please see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Metafile

WMFs are a dying format, so much so that Windows Vista (and 7) do not come with a WMF viewer built in as standard, unlike Windows XP and previous. This shows support for WMF is becoming obsolete.
The other big issue is the fact only Internet Explorer can see WMFs. Other browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari (I believe) cannot view WMFs.

5 - 6 years ago this was not a problem, because Internet Explorer had around 95% of market. Now it’s 50%, so in theory this means 40% of your customer won’t be able to see your floor plans. See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_share_of_web_browsers

We are working on a fix – but believe that because 50% of customers already cannot use the WMFs, and this will grow, that the answer is to not use WMFs going forward, but start using JPEGs or PNGs instead.

Certainly all of the newer Homeview and VebraLive, EncoreLive and all other back office systems as far as we are aware support JPEG – which is a much easier format for everyone to work with, and is just supported by everything.

So currently, our WMFs save from our Publisher WILL work in Homeview when you print your property details, but WILL NOT show on the internet in any web browser.

Kind regards,
